Dental Employment Services: Our Staff

Collectively, our team crosses job function lines to ensure that all client and associate employee needs are met. We do not believe in the "it's not my job" philosophy. We staff our phones from 6 AM until 8 PM during the week. Beyond those hours and on weekends, our voicemail system will either take your message or allow you to prompt an urgent request, alerting us to contact you. Don't be surprised to hear us answering the phone on a weekend, or late into the evenings - it's all about serving your needs.

Karen Gunter, President and Personnel Placement Coordinator
Karen joined Dental Employment Services, Inc. in 1997 as a placement coordinator, and under the tutelage of then owner Norma Dow, learned the ropes of the business. Karen became office manager in 2002. In 2006, Karen became owner and president of Dental Employment Services, Inc. and manages the business, is focal point for client relationships, and addresses permanent and temporary needs for offices and professionals. Karen has extensive experience in small business, business management, consulting, finance, and human relations. Karen enjoys servicing the dental community in her role as President and owner of Dental Employment Services, Inc.

Abby Vetter, Personnel Placement Coordinator
Abby handles the temporary and permanent placement needs for Hygienists and Front Office Staff. Abby conducts intake interviews with new personnel to help determine their employment requests so she can place them in positions that best match their needs. She stays in close contact with our dental offices and our professionals to ensure that their staffing needs are taken care of. She also uses her great customer service skills for answering our busy phones and her organizational skills to keep our office running smoothly and efficiently.
